Dear
friends
From 31 of August to 5 of September the European School of Internal
Medicine 9 (ESIM9) will occur in Sintra, in the facilities of
the Portuguese Air Force Academy (AFA).
The EFIM has trusted in our ability to follow the fantastic work
of Prof. Merino that imagined and put up the ESIM in the past
eight years in Alicante.
For the Portuguese point of view, it is a great honour to receive
residents and speakers from all over Europe (other Continents
too). We face it as a Service to the upgrade uniformity of European
Internal Medicine. The Portuguese authorities felt the same way
and it granted us the fantastic support of the Portuguese Air
Force.
We made all the arrangements in order to please residents and
speakers. We want them to have a lifetime experience with precious
learning, gratifying work but most of all, the building of long-lasting
friendship between all participants.
All them can surely rely on the hard work from the staff of the
ESIM, in order to solve any problem they have.
The ESIM 9 wants also to thanks all the EFIM organization and
National Societies collaboration, the precious support from the
Portuguese Air Force and the background from the Portuguese Society
of Internal Medicine.
